In summer, Val Rendena has much to offer in terms of excursions, mountaineering itineraries, climbing, mountain bike trails and mushroom picking.
There are numerous villages stretching along the 17 kilometres of Val Rendena. Starting from the tiny centre of Verdesina, the sentinel of the valley, then Villa Rendena and Iavrè, rich in history. Then there is Darè, famous for its porphyry paving; Vigo Rendena, known for its production of cured meats; Pelugo and further on Spiazzo and its sports facilities, with the hamlet of Mortaso ‘offering' bread and knives. Then Strembo and Caderzone with its new thermal baths and splendid granite fountains.
In Pinzolo, summer is the season that best lends itself to savouring the full beauty of the place. Culture, tradition and folklore combine with an infinite number of walks and excursions that culminate in the Adamello Brenta Natural Park.
Madonna di Campiglio is the queen of the valley. Golf, tennis, archery, mountain biking, downhill skiing, horse riding and paragliding are just some of the sports that go hand in hand with the thrill of getting to know, under the watchful eye of the Alpine Guides, the Brenta Dolomites, recognised by Unesco as a World Heritage Site.
